When asked about the audience, the person who wanted anonymity replied that the place is occupied by many people from the India, Pakistan, and other south Asian countries reside in the Middle East. One of the main place for unskilled labor is the Middle East so naturally most people opt to settle down there itself. The other point mentioned was that the Abu Dhabi and Dubai are easily accessible and not far from the Indian subcontinent. So there is no question of lesser audience. Abu Dhabi in fact, serves as a central place to the whole world so it can be easily utilized for cricket.

People know the facilities available at the Sharjah. The big stadiums with all the facilities required for the players. Abu Dhabi Cricket Association Chief, Dilwar Mani says that they are not trying to cash in other’s misfortune but as far as hosting games in the stadiums of Abu Dhabi is concerned, he says that they are second to none in providing world-class services to the players as well as the audience.

Though India is one of the main host of the upcoming events, many players are reluctant to go to India too, after what happened in Pakistan. The ICC says that it does not want to upset India, and hence is looking to the Middle East that will serve as a neutral point to the games.
